Excelsior Lighting designs and manufactures 'specification-grade' luminaires and mountings for professional landscape lighting industry. Headquartered in central California, we manufacture our own products and offer finished goods in inventory for 'same-day shipping' worldwide. We are proud to sell lighting products that are manufactured in the United States. Unlike our competitors, we take our products to market through distribution channels that are simple and convenient for the designer or contractor. Commissioned sales agents are not part of our sales and marketing structure. This allows you to deal directly with the manufacturer for technical product information for specifying or purchasing our products. With 20 years of landscape lighting manufacturing experience, our philosophy is to design and manufacture products that clients want; not products we think they should have!
Our products are designed to provide value and durability. These unique features include our formulated anodizing protection to double the life of the aluminum; molded silicone wire pass-thru to protect against water damage; machined glass, flush lens to ensure water drainage from lens. Our ten-year warranty exemplifies our confidence in the superior durability and performance of Excelsior Lighting products.
Our Products Feature:
Anodizing Protection:
To increase the corrosion resistance in our products, we use a three-step process:
1. Machine 6061-T6 copper-free aluminum.
2. Black anodized pre-treatment applied.
3. Polyester powder coat finish applied.
This process is more costly than the chromate process used by other companies, but the increased product life is worth it. We do not pass this increased cost along to the customer.
Molded Silicone Wire Pass-thru:
Our molded, high-temperature silicone wire pass-thru is installed into every product to prevent water intrusion. Water will not leak into the lamp compartment when used for down lighting in trees.
Flush Lens Feature:
To reduce the amount of mineral deposits that build up on the fixture lens, our ‘Flush Lens’ feature is standard on many of our cap designs. Our flush lens is a custom-cut piece of machined glass that is ‘stepped’ so that the lens forms a ‘flush’ fit into the cap. Caps drain water even when aimed straight up.
